We welcome all residents that would like to join the Rancho California RV Resort (RCRVR) pickleball club!

WHAT IS PICKLEBALL?

Pickleball was created in 1965 on Bainbridge Island (just outside of Seattle, WA) by three families. They used an existing badminton court, scrounged up some paddles, found a plastic ball with holes and went to work

creating this game called Pickleball.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America. The game combines elements of tennis, ping-pong and badminton. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick,

fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

If you are interested in playing, you can show up wearing court shoes at any of our regularly scheduled morning sessions. If you want to learn the game, contact Jerri Kesler for a free complementary lesson that is

given in a non-intimidating environment.

Rancho California RV Resort offers the finest, private pickleball courts available to our owners, renters and guests.

Club Mission Statement:

Our clubs mission is to provide a social, healthy, fun and competitive environment to all levels of play. As a club member you will receive additional benefits throughout the year. This will include daily organized club play, new player lessons, scheduled clinics, round-robins, tournaments and special events. All players from new player (1.0) through advanced open (5.0) are welcome to join. Our membership period runs annually, January - December.

Contact Allen Thurman to join the pickleball club. There is no annual fee.

Monday - Sunday

(Spring & Summer) 8:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.

(Winter) 9:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.

Note: Times may change due to weather

All Levels Welcome:

4.0 - 5.0 Challenge Court #1

3.0 - 3.5 Intermediate Court #2 & #4

1.0 - 2.5 New Player Court #3
