Life at Rancho California (The Ranch) is as busy or as laid-back as owners and guests want it to be -- and activities are as bold, as variable, as our Owner volunteers. They are the people who plan events and make them happen -- from huge holiday and seasonal galas to monthly and weekly activities.

Those with their own special talents and ideas are continually conjuring up new and interesting things we can do to keep us all entertained and active. Owners have created an annual Comedy Cabaret evening, offering an original spoof performed by our own "Troupe d'Trailer Trash." Karaoke evenings bring out the hidden performer in each of us, and our sports broadcasts show everyone's "true colors" -- in good sportsmanship fashion, that is. The July 4 Chili Cook-off brings forth some Closet Chefs, while local charities benefit from soirees, golf tournaments, craft shows, walk-a-thons, and other fun-filled events.

 

You won't find large craft rooms available for stained-glass artists, or rock polishing, or lapidary work here at Rancho California. What you will find are craft and conversation groups, a wide variety of card functions and table game gatherings, book clubs, dance lessons -- activities all planned and orchestrated by our owners. Of course there are all the sports activities -- leading off with golf, but also tennis, pickle-ball, bowling (off-site), walking, jogging, using the exercise room, swimming, or even a quiet game of croquet.

 

Rancho California has an amazing group of people who gladly share their talents to give us fun get-togethers, unexpected and fabulous entertainment, while others use their expertise to fix, build/repair, or make products and craft goods -- all enhancing our Rancho California lifestyle.
