Do we have ACTIVITIES here at Rancho California? You bet! There's resort-wide events scheduled nearly every other Saturday, and lots of mini-happenings in between. Check out the monthly Calendar and and the drive by Board at the Resort entrance. You'll see how busy things are at The Ranch! We've got an active group of owners who plan and implement holiday galas, boot-stompin' dances, evenings of theater or music, wine and cheese soirees, movie nights, karaoke -- the list is endless and as varied as the folks who comprise the Activities Committee.
What can you look forward to? Labor Day Weekend is a biggie at The Ranch, as Snowbirds start to return, and guests enjoy that last end-of-summer get-away. Our Halloween Party is a ton of fun with a dance and costume contest and more. July 4th is HUGE! The chili cook-off has grown every year and is one of the biggest events of the year. Hundreds of folks purchase tickets and travel the Resort in golf carts to taste & judge the chili. Saturday begins with a fishing derby for the kids, then on to tasting of the chili owners/renters and guests all step up to share their culinary skills. At the dance Saturday night, winners are announced for both the chili judging and the costumes as well as the golf cart parade. Sunday can bring a scavenger hunt with more prizes. And then there's New Year's Eve! Ring in the New Year with our annual dinner-dance in the beautifully decorated clubhouse. Join the festivities and you'll see how creative our committee can be!
January brings the Super Bowl Party, and your sweet tooth will be satiated with our Valentine's Day Soiree. Late Winter/earlySpring is highlighted by the annual COMEDY CABARET. Memorial Day week-end brings more fun and music. Those balmy June evenings are perfect for our series of lakeside concerts.
You won't be bored at The Ranch. And the Activities' Committee is always looking for volunteers and help for events.
